We offer a lifetime guarantee on all our products. Jewels created and manufactured by Julie Bégin Jeweller are subject to high quality standards and are diligently inspected before they leave our studio. Our fabrication procedures and our expertise combine to meet our uncompromising objectives.


  • In order to ensure the validity of the lifetime guarantee, an annual inspection of the pearl and stone settings must be performed by us.
  • Should your jewel be damaged, we recommend that you stop wearing it and have it inspected by us as soon as possible. Should the damage be due to a defect in fabrication, we will repair it at no cost. If the problem has occurred as a result of normal wear or an accidental damage, you will be charged a minimum fee for the repairs.
  • Diamonds, stones and pearls can break and are not guaranteed for a lifetime. We therefore advise our clients to take out an insurance policy to cover the loss or fracture of diamonds, stones and pearls as well as loss or theft.
  • We cannot guarantee jewels repaired by a third party.

In addition to our lifetime guarantee, we offer yearly inspection, deep cleaning and polishing of our jewellery creations at no extra cost for the three years following your purchase.

Shipping of pieces for inspection, repairs, cleaning, polishing and surface refinishing is the buyer’s responsibility.


Every item is made to order by hand. As a result, collection pieces are ready to ship in approximately 10-14 days. Custom design orders take four to six weeks. The customer is responsible for providing accurate measurements. Ill-fitting jewellery due to improper measurements will incur a resizing fee of $150.00 plus all shipping costs.


Collection pieces come wrapped in luxurious suede-like jewellery pouches and a branded protective box. An anti-tarnish disc is included at no extra cost to protect your jewellery during transportation and home storage. Gift boxes are available for purchase with your order. Custom design orders are always shipped in our elegant gift boxes.


Items will be shipped to the address provided by Paypal. Please ensure that your Paypal address is correct and up-to-date. Items lost and shipping charges incurred due to incorrect shipping information are the sole responsibility of the customer. We cannot ship to PO boxes.

Shipping on all orders includes a tracking number and insurance. For time sensitive orders and to upgrade to faster shipping, please email us.

Delivery times are estimated. We are not responsible for shipping delays.

Buyers are responsible for any and all import taxes, custom duties, local taxes and fees that may be incurred when importing jewellery. Should you refuse to pay these fees and the items are returned to us, a 25% restocking fee plus all shipping charges will be deducted from refundable merchandise.

When sending us items of monetary or sentimental value, always use insured, traceable shipping methods. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping to us.


All payments are processed through Paypal. You do not need a PayPal account to pay for your items through PayPal, you can pay by credit or debit card. For orders within the province of Quebec, GST and QST sales taxes will be applied. For orders from other Canadian provinces, sales tax will be applied as prescribed by law. Taxes are automatically calculated at check out.


If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your order, we will gladly accept an exchange or return on regular stock items. Simply contact us within 10 days of receiving your order for instructions on how to initiate a return/exchange. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. As all items are made to order, a 25% restocking fee applies to all returns except when they are due to a mistake on our part or the items were damaged during shipping, in which case you will be fully refunded. Personalised, custom designed, discounted and sales items cannot be returned and are non-refundable. All deposits and shipping charges are entirely non-refundable. Buyers pay for return shipping with mandatory tracking and insurance. Packages “refused”, “returned to sender” or sent back to us without prior notice will not be refunded.


To request a repair, please contact us by email with a description of the problem including a photo. Should the damage be due to a defect in fabrication, we will repair the jewel at no cost. If the damage is accidental or due to normal wear, customers will be charged a minimum fee for the repairs. Customers are responsible for all shipping and insurance costs to and from our Montreal studio.

Every piece is hand-crafted and therefore subject to slight variations.
Tarnishing is a natural process which happens to all sterling silver items. Tarnished pieces can be restored to their original lustre through polishing.

Shiny, satin and matte finishes as well as oxidized finishes and electroplating are all surface treatments which naturally fade over time. The harder you are on your jewellery the faster they fade. Yearly surface refinishing of our creations is offered at no cost for three years following your purchase. Shipping is the buyer’s responsibility.
